Overview

The DTrol app does not collect, use, save, or have access to any personal information.

Network Connections

DTrol may ask you for permission to connect to your network. When you add a DTrol Server, you enter the IP address for a particular device on your network. DTrol will only communicate with the IP address(es) that you type into DTrol. DTrol will never "scan" your network looking for other devices.

Data Storage

All setup data, such as the Server IP addresses you type into DTrol, is stored locally within the app, and any data DTrol generates, such as its "log" file, is also stored locally within the app. We have no access to this app data; it will remain exclusively on your iPhone or iPad unless you take some action such as including DTrol as part of a backup on your device, or copy-pasting the data out of DTrol.

DTrol has always worked this way. This Privacy Policy was first published on February 20, 2022. We will note any future changes here with a revised effective date.
